Want To Get Free Ebooks Online And Legally?
Posted By: Daniel @ BloggingUnited.com on November 29, 2008 at 1:34 amHey guys, as I haven’t been posting many methods lately I decided to make one now. This doesn’t have anything to do with the review packages Jason @ TheUniversityKid told us about, it is a completely different idea. This one involves searching through some sites that provide you with free ebooks. This is easy to do as you get a lot of results back and they tend to be some quality products if you search correctly. Anyway, we’ll get started now and see what we can do.
I researched quite a few and these were the results, remember to check most of them out as you may find better things in different sites.
- Scribd - Probably by far my favorite one. Provides a free option to get ebooks, there are literally 1000’s upon 1000’s of them. This provides easy to read formats and is quite a nice site to look around on. You need to search throughly and chances are you will find what you want, I get some great ideas for blogposts from some of the ebooks there.
- ManyBooks - This one can provide books for your electronic ebook reader and ipod. Pretty similar to Scribd and also has a large collection of books.
- Free Tech Books - This is great if you have say a science or technology website and need some help with posts. A great one to check out and has a lot of quality books for you to read through.
- Word Public Library - Another good one, this has the largest library of books in my opinion. If you can’t find something here you probably won’t find one anywhere
- ebookSpyder - Another one for those tech books, this one deals with computers more though. It provides great books for you to learn computer related subjects, and I recommend this to you newbies out there that need some help with this kind of stuff.
- Google Book Search - This one is best for those of you that are interested in reading some real books. Although Google tries to clear a lot of them due to copyright issues, you can probably sneak in and read some of the great books on offer. Easy to read formats and great to get through.
I will leave this for now as this might be something the new owner wants to blog about. Anyway, so far I have received a bid of $125 USD on it which is good but not quite what I want. I am still expecting to get up to $200++ USD in the remaining 4 days as this is want I really think the blog is worth.
