Welcome to method two of my website flipping explained guides. This one is on proxy and everything you need to do from start to finish in order to succeed.  If done right, you can make some pretty decent money with proxies, they are easy to profit on!

A web proxy is a website which you can visit to make yourself anonymous on the internet and pass firewalls.

Most of you have used a proxy at one time in your life, if that was to get onto blocked sites at your work or school or to get past with your IP kept anonymous. So just reading that one paragraph can tell you that people look for proxies each and everyday. As the get blocked people look for
more and more of them!

So what am I going to teach you? I am going to show you how to pick a good name, how to set everything up, how to advertise, how to make money and how to sell. This may require little or a lot of work depending on how fast you work and some other factors. You can make from $10 -
$1,000 a month if you wanted too; it all depends how much work you put in and possibly how much money you have to invest.

Step 1: Domain
Okay first of all I would recommend never you to pick a domain with the name “proxy” in it as it gives the name away and it will be blocked straight away. If you want to, go with a .info they are cheap and do the job. A good technique to follow when buying a domain is getting .com. People tend to remember a .com better then a .info for example because they are heard everywhere. It is totally up to you on what you want to originally invest with. My tip would be to register 4-6 names, but if you just want to see what it takes to run a proxy; stick with 1 or 2 names. .

Step 2: Hosting
Now I would say that this is probably the hardest step when you are starting up with proxies. Finding a host that can provide good service for a low price is difficult yet very possible to do. I started off wrong with this step, opting for a bad host that took money from me until I canceled my order.

I recommend you search digitalpoint or even make your own thread looking for respectable proxy hosting providers. I would like to tell you that you should never go with one made by a newbie unless he/she has proof that it is good and customers are happy. With around 400GB bandwidth,
you should be able to comfortably get around 4-6 proxies up and running. Try to get Cpannel if possible as I said in the previous method, it will make the job easier to do. Once you have your host set-up and all ready, add your domains, change nameservers and you are ready to get your site up.

Step 3: Your Template And Site Upload
This is a vital step, with good ad positioning and a good design you will not only have visitors coming back but will be making some good money from your ads as well. Any of the below sites proxy templates are fine, try to pick a sleek design that seems to make the ads unseen due to its blending. The more the ads appear to be hidden and the more potential you have in getting clicks. Remember to only put Adsense on your proxy homepage, Google will ban you if they are on the proxified pages!

In order to put your adsense code in, you will need to open up the config.php file in notepad or your hosts editor in cpanel. You will have a little “pub ID” in the file, like this - pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you don’t know where to get your pub ID, you find that once you have logged into your Adsense main page. Now with ads in the browse bar of the proxy, I recommend just one adbrite ad underneath it and that is all. Now the two main ad programs I would recommend you to use on proxies is Adsense and Adbrite. Put Adbrite on the proxified pages ad, Adsense can be left in the positions we spoke about above.

Download a nice looking template and simply open the logo file and edit it to the name of your site(s).
Pretty much all you do now is download FileZilla FTP client and upload the files. Make sure your ad placement is correct and you have changed the ads so they are showing yours. I recommend you to sign up to Google Analytics and get the code to put on your proxy. If your site has awstats then
Analytics is not needed unless you want to add it in.

Step 4: Advertising
Here is the part where you advertise your proxy in order to get some traffic to your blog and make you some money for the work you have put in so far. Unfortunately I have some bad news for you, this is the step that requires the most work but on the bright side is the easiest to do.

Create a Myspace Group: Considering a lot of kids/teenagers use proxies, why not promote there first of all!? Myspace users need proxies to access it as it is blocked everywhere, creating a Myspace group can get you some fast effortless traffic for just sending out one bulletin! Social networking can be very successful if you have a network of friends. Even if not, this is very easy to do. Even using a friend adder is fine as you want people to check out your proxy.

Google and Yahoo group posting: You need to use a spam email as you will get a tone of spam from these groups daily. Unless you want 1k emails a day in your business
email I suggest you just get a new spam email. I have done all the work for you getting all the proxy groups which you can see below. You simply sign-up to them and then post your message 2-3
times a day spaced out over the day. You need to post at least 3 times a day for the first week to get the proxy around first of all. If you need a little help, you can either find someone to post for a daily charge which I don’t recommend but you can try. You could also try something like http://www.freescriptscenter.com/7/13707/Yahoo-Groups-Auto-Poster.html and see whether it will help. I haven’t tried that actual software as I post manually to around 5 different groups 3 times a day.

Paid Newsletters:Another way to get your proxy around is with newsletters – you can either start your own one or buy a spot in somebody else’s one. If you can find one, try to get 7,000+ subscribers and under $20 a submission. Although it may seem like a lot when starting out, it is 100% worth every cent as it is not only time efficient, but it will get you a lot of ad clicks for no work!

Youtube Marketing: This is one I am yet to try out but I really think it would work. It is pretty simple, you make a video and upload it to Youtube. Now as Youtube videos rank high, good keywords in the title can have you ranking up high for some most searched proxy keywords. The video could go viral and you could see yourself getting some free, targeted traffic! Check out the below video that got 21 thousand views!

As you can see, someone simply showing his own proxy with good keywords in the video title got him lots of views!

Proxy Topsites: Another method is to submit your site to proxy topsites. They provide a tone of traffic and just require you to put a link pack to their site on your site. Below are some good top sites I have used.

A Recap Of What You Can Do To Get Traffic: Try make your site different from the rest. Go for a custom design, it really makes the site look more professional and welcoming. A memorable domain is essential so that people can tell their friends. Upload some videos to YouTube with links back to the proxy site. Use proxy newsletter services. I can strongly recommend addvertise.info - Check the DP forums for others. Send out MySpace bulletins to people. Link trade with proxy topsites.

Step 6: Making More
Okay, now I said you can make $1,000 with this method and you can! What you do is create MORE proxies and advertise and set them up the same way as you did with the original one. Now your earnings can go from $5 a day to $25-$50 a day if you have around 5-10 proxies up. They may get harder to manage but will pay off as long as you do it all right.

Step 7: Selling
Proxies sell for 1-3 months revenue. You need to provide all stats possible as well as how much the new owner will need to spend a month. This will give buyers security in buying and not leave them cautious. Remember to post that you are willing to except any extra questions as this will possibly get more interest.
