If you buy links there are two things you can do to eliminate the risk of a penalty. First, buy links in natural content on relevant sites (no sidebars or footers). Second, buy the link directly from sites that don’t sell links.

Not easy at all but it works amazingly well.

@tom & @ daniel - Entrecard sounds like a site that I used to run back in 2003 - Provance.net. Basically, bloggers would sign up and be placed in a rotation. Each day, each blogger would get three blogsthat they had to go comment on. Of course, with the diverse number of blogging platforms, this was pretty much the honor system. Bloggers got a lot of traffic, but it was pretty low quality, and contributed nothing.

Hey mate,

I’m back again - Anyway, I like the tips you’ve put down and I have another one for you. How about building backlinks and optimizing your keywords? With the most successful sites I have had, this has worked best in the long run. Reason being is Google or Yahoo searchers are looking for a particular return is results, if your site isn’t there then how do you get traffic?

@ Tom - I always found EntreCard to be like a PTC site. You surf other peoples sites to get credits and there is no guarantee they’re even going to look at your site. Mind you I haven’t used it all that much, only once - Is it still doing well or has it died now?
